Bought this set during the week and was impressed by the quality of the knives and the scissors, much better than I thought they would be.The knife handles are solid and weighty , not plasticy like you get with some cheap ones and the scissors are robust enough for kitchen or garden.

Kitchen Devils did a set similar to this about 12 years ago you even gotr a Chopping board £2 a pack, the handles were plastic, but good quality, the blades are like scalpels, I bought 4 sets kept 1 gave the others to my children. I still have the full set the others have lost one or both of the small veg/paring knives, but all of them still have a sharp edge on them. I saw some Kitchen devil knives in a store last week, the prices were daylight robbery. I also have a Sabatier Chefs knife, no matter how many times I put an edge on it, the dam thing goes blunt within a few cuts.
Price or Brand are not always a good indicator of Quality.

these are dire, i bought the set with the knife block absolute rubbish. i thought that i had myself a bargain but im going to buy a better set before long. my kitchen devils of seven years are sharper, the handle is so uncomfortable it hurts to slice veg and they're too flexible.
