Aunt Bessie's apple crumble is freakin' awful - the filling is like overly sweetened apple puree, lacking any kind of substance. Good if you like highly processed mush, I guess, but I really don't.
Aldi do a super nice apple tart which has decent chunks of apple; tastes as good as the M&S apple pies / crumbles, IMO.
