Seconded! Not normally a fan of 'coated' chips but these work a treat. One thing I would say is I never run my Airfryer over 160c - I find I get more even cooking this way. Other peoples results may vary!

You don't get that many chips in a packet from my experience of them.
I bought a pack a few weeks ago when I couldn't find any other chips in a local supermarket - cost me something outrageous like £2.45ish.
They are quite nice but now "WOW!" IMPO. They are OK.
More importantly, because each chip is quite big and weighty I found that I didn't get that many in a packet compared to, say, McCain straight or crinkly oven chips. They were all gone with two or three meals.

Will be the best purchase you've ever made, mine practically retired the oven.

Kikia, I noted these last night and nearly posted them. Glad you did.
If you require a replacement for thick, coated oven chips Iceland do a 1kg pack for £1, of what they call American style chunky chips. You can find them with their more special chips. They are usually next to crisscross chips in the freezer.
They do sell out quickly. I have to sometimes goto my other branch in town to get them.
They cook very evenly and brown well.

Thanks for that robin5858, I'll definitely buy some of those next time I pass Iceland...

900gr for 87p is amazing value. Less than 10p per 100gr. I have stocked up for the winter. I think Sainsbury prefers Aunt Bessies to Mccains now. They have downsized their Mccains range in my nearest large store.
Opening post
Hope this deal is useful to some of you... :)
