I don't recommend cards with this type of cooler.
Not because of high temperature, but because of the noise.
I know someone below will say that it's nonsense, that noise levels are normal.
I believed them when I bought a Gigabyte GTX 970 with pretty much the same cooler design
I got shafted with a desktop with airplane like noise levels, after that never again, maybe if when I live near Heathrow.

I bought 4 to use in my quad SLI setup, need em so i can up the resolution to 1024x768 on lemmings..
With regard to the i5 6600k, is there much difference between OEM and retail? I was under the impression it was just the warranty but this one says it's OEM but has a 3 year warranty. Any light shone on this would be appreciated.

It looks as it could be an intentional misprint, the other comments in the thread suggest the company are disreputable.

Couldn't agree more my old 7950 had a blower system like that and heat was a little warm but the sound when i played high spec games used to drive me nuts kinda glad i accidentally killed it and bought Asus GTX 970 Strix as the difference is insane.
Decent price but be warned off the sound and in my opinion it is a little louder than normal.
Heat eitherway.

There is some variation between brands in terms of noise from this type of cooler, my EVGA 670oc had this type and it really wasn't too bad, I could only faintly hear it above my game volume. This design is very noisy at 100%, but you never get close to 100% in gaming. I briefly had an AMD card with the same design and it was a bit too loud for my liking.
Personally I prefer to pay more for a quiet cooler these days, my 980Ti is completely silent at idle (fans stop) and almost whisper quiet at full load.

Dreadful seller in my experience, wouldn't go near them again.
Ordered a motherboard, received confirmation it had been dispatched the same day.
A week on, nothing received. No answer on the phone, emailed them and a couple of days later received a vague email advising that 'delivery had been arranged'. Asked for clarification on this (tracking number or similar) and this email was ignored.
A week on from that, still nothing. Went to Rakuten CS who advised they were in contact with the company.
Few days on from that, had to threaten a credit card chargeback through Rakuten's CS in order to get a refund. Never heard a thing or an apology from thecableplace.
Left a one star review, the same night I received an email in which they stated this was unfair (despite having taken money for over a fortnight and not sending any goods) and trying to buy me off with a free USB pen.
Did the honourable thing and just ignored that email, given their complete lack of communication towards me.
Other reviews suggest this is far from an isolated incident. I'm guessing they're probably fine for cheap £2 cables but I'd stay well clear for any specialist item that it seems unlikely they keep in stock.

I'd have taken the USB pen, offered to change review to 5 stars for a bigger size one and then left the review at 1star, just for your troubles

I had a problem with this company also I ordered a z77 motherboard and after 1 month I asked them to sort it out they said the courier (yodel)has it and they will provide tracking but I didn't pay for that courier I had paid for royal mail so no surprise to me when i didn't get sent a tracking number, after 1 week I contact rakuten CS and it took a further 2 weeks to get my money back.

Id be careful with this company they took nearly 2 months to deliver a printer saying courier had lost it twice. It did turn up eventually. The address and phone number of this company are virtual.

Very cheap for a GTX 970 - yes the cooler can be loud on full load but for people wanting to mod and swap to water cooling this would be ideal as it's a reference card.
