Brilliant deal, just bought a standalone STRIX GTX 970 from Gumtree for £170 and the thing absolutely flies, near enough maxed out GTA V on 1080p and that's with a AMD FX-6300 CPU OC'd to 4.5Ghz!! Thought it would bottle neck the graphics card but so far it hasn't, well worth the money for this card and with that SSD it's an added bonus!

This looks like a really good deal .. it the card i've been waiting for but i dont need another ssd.. yeah i know i could just sell the ssd but i'd much rather have the card on its own for a cheaper price.

I would say that's the minimum to be looking at. But surly with dx12 benchmarks with async u would be possibly looking at amd flagship as so far at this point in time they look a lot stronger than nvidia but that could change Ofcourse

GTX 970 (OC or not) is not worth £290. You are just going to pay for the SSD anyway at that price if games are free. Also please do NOT buy from Flubit as they are not offering the freebies.

I think for me, I'm thinking of selling all the included games and SSD. So, that could net me a fair discount overall. Although, I was thinking of keeping The Division. :P

The 970 is an excellent card and will be around for a good few years to come. nVidia will obviously sort out the directx12 issue. I've been using the card for a couple of months now and I never cease to be amazed at the graphics quality it produces at very high resolutions . Excellent share voted hot.

welp I did it, after a year of umming and arring and my graphic card going down the drain, loads videos black and can't run a game of CS:GO without crashing I have finally upgraded my card :smile:

What will the power draw be like on this compared to a 960? I bought the zoo storm i5 PC deal a few weeks ago (with the intention of upgrading) but it only has a 350w PSU (which I'm looking to change when I put it into a smaller form factor case in the summer). They're 'okay' unless you have a post-sales issue - in the case of the latter they quite simply do not want to know.
They seem to do everything that is possible to avoid offering a great level of service. Used to spend lots of hard earned cash with them. Do not recommend them at all anymore. Awful company.

I got my Tom Clancy email today, saying to go to redeem.nvidia.com and enter a code. Do I sell this code to someone or do I have to redeem it myself then have a serial number to sell? Bit confused!

^^Yeap, go to the link in the email they sent, enter the code from the email, fill in your detail's, it will then ask you to log into uplay, and bingo, the game will appear on your uplay account showing as pre-order.

And for those of us who might now have a spare video card laying around, i took my now old GTX760 into my local CEX, gor £46 cash for it, so get your old card in there and get some cash back. :smiley:

Do I seriously need to take my gpu out to get the PPID number? that's so dumb. Spent time installing the thing now I need to unscrew it all again.

Anyway, the PPID may be on that side of the 970, but I have a different card with the same promo. It's actually right next to the PCIE connector, facing to the side of the case for me.

I found it but it was annoying to read. Code still didn't work as I got the 24 hour wait message as well.

My paypal account got restricted a month ago and even though I sent ID almost a month ago they still haven't unlocked it :disappointed: I want to sell this far cry code.

the cables have actually been sorted now, my OH sorted the PC first time and he cable tied them all together and it took a right fight to move them all to fit the card, had to remove it again and start from the beginning haha,

but fair enough, I did think it was on the other spot as well and got pretty **** thinking I'd have to rereremove it lol

I don't know if this helps, but, I tried it a couple of times in a row earlier and it just worked. I have my code. Took ages, but maybe it's a sign that it's beginning to ease up.

Asus site working now - Primal key received. Just waiting for ebuyer now.

Communication from ebuyer was none existent, enotes took 4 days to get a reply. I actually had recieved my code by the time they replied. It would've have been nice if they just put a note on customers accounts confirming that they would be emailing the links to redeem the code.

Regards the Asus Far Cry Primal code, even though i've registered my card with asus i still get this message.

so now i'm fuming as i have to take the card out AGAIN to see if there is another sticker that i missed.... kinda sure there isn't though :disappointed:

Well now i get wrong PPID number, but seeing there are only two stickers on the card the error must be on their side.

Plus the site has had a small bit of text added at some point in the last few hours telling you to send a receipt and said number to them via email if you have any issues, i have just done that, so finger crossed.

Well i just recieved my Far Cry code via email from Asus, so if you are still having issues, all i did was take a screen shot of my ebuyer invoice, save it as a jpeg via MS paint app, attached it to a email with my serial and PPID numers, and stated in the email that the redeem site was not working for me.

Hope that helps anybody still having issue with redeeming said game.

I also did my daily routine of putting the Serial numbers & PPID number in (to redeem the Far Cry Primal code), all cut & paste from my Notepad, and it finally accepted them. :laughing:

I was fortunate & got my Division code last week & have been really enjoying the game. The email came GamesCoupon (@ebuyer) in case anyone might want to check their spam/trash folders.

I know its unlikely anyone checks this now but any idea how good ebuyers replacement is?
I have used my graphic card last few days and been great and today the fans stopped working and it completely died on me, would really like it replacement
