The individual items aren't bad, hammers a good thing to keep in the side of your door for an emergancy, poncho is ok too if you aren't in the habit of carrying spare rain gear in your car and want to be like the fat guy in Jurassic park. And the foil blankets actually a good addition to your cars first aid kit if it doesn't have one. Whistle is pretty useless in a car, but good for walking. And the bottles ok, having some extra in your car is usually a good shout.

Well if you have the misfortune to break down in the wilds of Iceland (that would be near the meals for one cabinet) you could always use the emergency hammer to subdue one of your travelling companions, wrap them in the foil blanket and cook them on a lava flow or hot ash bed. :smiley:
