Every time I hear the intro to 'The Final Countdown' I only ever see

For some reason, the link doesn't work for me and I can't find this on the site - just individual seasons or complete for £4.49. Guess I was too late to the party.

Well, that kinda works but there's so many subtle jokes that it could take multiple watchings to get them.

That never works. The show is quite short episodes the season 1-3 about 20 mins each I think and season 4 is 40 mins its easily watchable spread out. Saying that I get netflix for free anyway but I still watched this within a week. But some of us get paid to watch TV :smiley:

Love Arrested Development - a comedy with so many layers there is much more to find on second, third and fourth viewings.

I find anything with Bateman in it to be excellent however never managed to see this yet and for the price for 3 seasons it will fill my void between big bang theory when it finishes ... Anyone watched the gift with Bateman in it show our good he is in stuff more serious

Comparing it to Big Bang Theory doesn't really make much sense at all as one is completely subtle while the other uses nerd references as 'jokes' of which the audience always laughs even if it isn't actually funny.

Holy cow. Just buy it. People try and protect the fourth series but it was a convoluted mess and I'm a massive ad fan. Leatherdaddy.

If you love Lucille Bluth then I think you should watch Archer. They've made her character the same in this comedy. Shes relentlessly funny.

I only watch Arrested Development because the actors have been in other things i really love.
However Arrested Development itself, is a pile of dog poo. I hate myself that Im currently watching season 3.

Luckily I have found Hand Of God on Amazon Video, which has saved me from this mindless drivel.

Just adding to the comments already made, it is not the same as Big Bang Theory. You will need to invest a little more time to get the most out of it, but it will be absolutely worth it. If it helps I would classify it in the same category as 'Parks and Recreation' which is equally brilliant and available on Amazon Prime.

I tried to show it to many friends n family n after 1st episode they got bored
It takes 4/5 episodes to get hooked but once u say mid 1st season u will not stop watching it

This is the only American comedy I have ever loved. It is so good. To me it is the antithesis of things like the big bang theory and such, which i find are setup>punchline and formulaic. Great price.

Does this get funnier after the first episode? I've heard such great things about it, but thought the first episode was so boring, I switched it off after 20 minutes. Maybe it's just not my thing..
