Hope we get a blu ray release at somepoint
Tho the company doing the HD touch up of buffy ( for digital streaming ) , totally screwed their attempt for the most part
(they let software pretty much do it all for them, leaving a mix of actually decently upscaled scenes to be fair - but with scenes that no longer feature the actual focus character in the shot anymore , weird fish eye lense moments , or some nice shots of rigging/cameras/actors waiting

Can totally understand that some people won't like the covers being in French (hence the reason I made sure I pointed it out to people) as it used to be something I wasn't keen on but then I realised that once I've opened the box and put the DVD in the machine I don't look at the cover again so as long as it plays in English and is a genuine DVD set at a reasonable price I'm happy..so I guess the deal is really for people like me who don't mind and perhaps want to give other people the impression that they're bi-lingual :stuck_out_tongue:
I've saved a substantial amount on various DVD boxsets by buying from Amazon France and have managed to get some that I'd been after for a while that aren't even available in a UK version such as The Closer Complete Seasons 1-7 (which strangely enough isn't even available to buy in the USA where it was made but is available in France and Germany) and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air Seasons 1-6 just to name a couple so find it's worth keeping an eye on what's on Amazon France.
Admittedly I already have the Complete Buffy and Angel Series from their original release in the really nice "hard" lidded boxes from years ago rather than the newer "slipcase" ones that are available now but paid quite a lot or them at the time

I bought this set from Amazon UK a few weeks ago for £30 - I can see its gone back up in price now, but it often falls back to that level. Great price at £22 OP, but think the French covers would drive me nuts to be honest! For anyone that's not watched this before - its a FANTASTIC series, I'm really enjoying watching it again after all these years. Would help if you've seen Buffy already though - there are a lot of series/character cross overs that might not make much sense if you hadn't. Heat added! Xxx
