Added this to 4 other items this month as a nice little extra to get my monthly S&S to 15% off (thus getting it for £3.51).
However, anyone could order just this as a single S&S item for £3.92 (5% discount for 1-4 items in a month on S&S).
Seems to range from £6.88 (ebay) upwards elsewhere. I'm going to put it away as a gift - nice item.

Shellac is usually acceptable to vegetarians since it's an animal by-product, but it's not vegan. I think it might be off-putting to many people though because the raw shellac before processing has a huge amount of animal debris in it.

It says on the ingredients on mine it contains confectioners glaze which is shellac. see this link
