Same, but sometimes they can be quite stupid. Once my charger wouldn't fit into my Hudl and they asked me if I tried a factory reset. Like that would help!

I had to stop buying selection boxes for this very reason, even opened ones I had wrapped :disappointed: Then had to buy again when they wasn't on offer.

Maths time!
The Cadbury Creme Eggs Egg 138g at £1.50, is £1.09 per 100g (150p / 138g).
4x would be 552g and £3 (after offer).
So 300p / 552g = 0.543478261, aka £0.54 / 100g.

A Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Bar 200g at £1.50, is £0.75 per 100g.
(has 50p knocked off, also making it the cheapest grams per penny Cadbury's bar on Tesco)

So yes, as long as you do the Buy 2 Get 2 Free deal, this is cheaper than buying a bar - so stock up and pig out! ;D

not a dumb statement at all. That's yours & only YOUR opinion!! it does encourage obesity, as normal size chocolate satisfies most of us!! But, then the size is reduced & you feel unfulfilled, so another chocolate is indulged

That's maybe true but when you are getting the whole thing for 75p and it is normally about 60p just for a creme egg nowadays that is a good deal still!

what a rip off these eggs are compaired to last year now with only ONE cream egg inside, the ones with 2 cad. cream eggs are £4 .. you can get 9 cadburies cream eggs for £3.... the othes have 1 mars bar, i very small pack of oreos

Presumably they've done their research and people must favour the "134g, last year there were 137g" decrease than the "78p? last year they were 75p" price increase.

Consumers don't want to pay more, so we get less!

I personally boycott Nestle (baby milk scandal), and haven't particularly been enough of a fan of their chocolate before to miss it now.

Mars have definitly been the most consistent over the years from what I can remember.

Except:
- Goodbye Galaxy Truffle.

Cadbury chocolate, even their Dairy Milk, just doesn't do it for me anymore.

Mars easter eggs are still fairly decent. 1 mars bar and the hollow egg (£1 each in ASDA at the moment). Don't believe they've changed their formula, as it still tastes fairly nice.

Modelez/Kraft has destroyed Cadburys.

Mars are Mars - this is why I'm very much a fan. Nestle chocolate doesn't technically exist - Nestle just bought Rowntree's in 1990. It's pretty damn insulting to the incredible heritage of Rowntree's when Nestle just slap their name on all the fruit sweets - pretending that it was Nestle who were responsible for their incredibly long heritage. ALL Nestle made chocolate wise before they bought out Rowntree's HUGE portfolio was essentially MilkyBar and Nestle Crunch. But even though it was a bitter pill to swallow, Nestle have at least not tampered with the taste of the chocolate. Size and shape yes, but not taste. Small mercy.

Almost correct ...weight does not necessarily equate to size. If the chocolate is more dense than the filling, it is feasible that there is more chocolate, less filling, smaller size and an increase in weight. All that thinking tired me out. I'm off to bed now. :stuck_out_tongue:

You can argue about taste which i find boring as hell but the idea creme eggs are getting smaller is just wrong. they were 39g since 1977, now they are 40g so are getting bigger. Its only in usa they got smaller.

The idea that smaller portion sizes makes people obese is dumbest thing ive heard.

Inflation means either prices increase, cheaper ingredients or smaller size. companies research what is best to do to keep people buying, and they are right except for when people do stupid twitter campaigns.

my partner and I have had this conversation recently!! The size of the chocolate has got smaller & smaller. More like fun size bars. Same with chocolate biscuits ie, penguins, they are tiny. so instead of 1 biscuit it's 2. So no wonder the country is becoming full of obese people. I'd actually prefer to pay the full price and get the full size. Instead of a third of the size. There's also been alot of talk on the filling in a Cadbury's Creme Egg, that too has changed. I bought one the othwr day to see what has changed. So, so disappointed. The egg is smallwr, chocolate thicker & filling less. I used to love a Creme Egg. Anyone else agree???

this is a better offer. you can't just give the kids one miserly small egg with one bar or pkt of sweets. so get stocking up. Usually has a limitation in Morrisons. so a few trips probably needed & they sell out as fast as they come in too. so good luck

Forgetting about all the time and effort (i value my time) and the fact of creme eggs/mars bars/mini eggs etc which you would struggle to make. Most people prefer cadburys/mars/nestle chocolate

I think they are. Cadburys used to be my fav but not now. It's not just their Easter eggs, it's all their chocolate since they were taken over by Kraft in my view.
