Waitrose essential beans are sometimes £0.99 for 4 pack, normal price is £1.25 I think, less my waitrose discount if you have card.
Children prefer these to all others.

OP - last I heard, Heinz make Corale beans! That was a while back so I don't know if its still the case. At the time, When asked what the difference was between their beans and the Corale ones, Heinz said their beans are in a fresh tomatoe sauce whereas Corale beans are made with tomatoe puree. Its all a matter of taste.

Really not sure who makes Corale beans now a days. I was convinced Heinz was the best for years won't have anything else in cupboard until I tried this Aldi corale ones. They are great on quality and size. Fully stocked up now.
Tinned tomato sauce based beans are never going to be 'fresh' tbh, as you said it's just matter of personal taste in the end.

Beans are one item you don't look at the price. You just pick up that Branston 4-pack and waddle away happy...

I think in many cases with food you just become accustomed to your own diet. I used to prefer HBeinz(cool typo, think I'll leave it.) but these days I actually prefer the ones from Aldi.

Lidl's + these Aldi ones are better than the Heinz you buy today, both a fare price and taste.Yet to buy a bad tasting tin of beans from either. Just to add B + M and Home bargains sell 300g tins of heinz for 39p ,3 for a £1.Just big enough for a double portion of beans on toast.

Not keen on these beans, some very hard beans to be found in the can. I much prefer the cheaper white label ones from Aldi although there is a lot of sauce in the can, the beans taste much nicer. Downside perhaps is I think last time I got them they were around 27p a can, so dearer than this deal.

If these are anything like Lidl's own brand beans, they will be horrific. Taste like the metal has reacted with the sauce resulting in a terrible metalllic taste.
Same applies to Morrisons own brand beans. Wouldn't be surprised if they use the same manufacturer.
Pay 29p more and buy BRANSTON!

These are ok same sort of league as Heinz for taste but my favourite are Branstons normally pick those up when they're on offer and a few more pence off with Shopitize.

I hate these beans, Branston beans for me which are 4 cans for £1.27 in Tesco at the moment. So worth the extra 28p (but I appreciate that is just my opinion). Good price though so heat added
