You don’t have to pay over the odds for Valentine’s Day red roses, with bunches of 12 starting from £3 at supermarkets. These are the cheapest prices retailers have confirmed for standard roses for the Valentine's period, but in the past stores have cut prices even further on the day itself in their war of the roses.
£3 for 12 red sweetheart roses at Lidl (find your nearest). From Fri 12 Feb.
£3 for 12 red sweetheart roses, or £5 for 12 red roses at Aldi (find your nearest).
£5 for 12 red roses at Asda (find your nearest*). From Thu 11 Feb.
£5 for 12 Fairtrade red sweetheart roses at Co-op (find your nearest). From Thu 11 Feb.

£10 for 12 long stemmed red roses at M&S (find your nearest*). From Thu 11 Feb.
Expect short-stemmed standard roses unless we've specified otherwise - we've not included any premium ranges. The cost of roses can shoot up if they are long-stemmed, or ethically/locally sourced. If you want more bang for your buck, consider alternatives such as tulips.

To be fair he got me £1600 pounds back in bank charges when that came out.
but yes he moans about corporations ripping the public off but then goes and sells his website to one. Fair play to him though who the hell makes that much money from a website

Totally agree, it isn't a Money Saving e-mail anymore, it's basically an attempt to see how much affiliate income they can generate. It's basically an advert to change your utilities or entertainment package, so they can get the massive referral fees. The rest is either complaining that the government isn't doing enough to curb consumer debt and the rest encouraging you to accumulate debt on interest free credit cards.
Then when you're up to your eyeballs in debt, he suggests you save £2 coins.

Martin Lewis set up and sold that money saving expert website for about £30 million and we are still grubbing around looking for 10p off turnips in Heron foods.
Surely moneysaving should be slagging us, not the other way round??
