Why should roses just be for valentines day!
Why not treat the Mrs on a 'normal' day?
Cant go wrong for 75p!
Apparently putting them in warm/hot water makes them last longer!
Possibly nationwide, they had tons of them.
Also the more expensive bunches reduced from £10 to £2.25

Unless you are of course, a bit clever and take the yellow sticker off, prior to presenting to the loved one ;-)

Don't be ridiculous, you paid for that sticker, your other half should be proud of your thrifty HUKD skills. If not she can get bent, from now on its daffodils from the local roundabout.

NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING says I love you like a Tesco reduced yellow sticker on a bunch of flowers for a loved one.

75p for a dozen roses... thats as cheap as it gets.
I agree buying them on valentines is a rip off and always over priced, but at the price...

Ahh, this is a lovley grammar argument. I guess it boils down to whether you consider a dozen red roses to be 12 individual items or a single item of 12 red roses.
I guess you could say all of the bunches WERE reduced
or
A single bunch WAS reduced.

The 75p is not nationwide. I just went to my local Tesco and they're still only 75% off.

buying flowers is not about you but the person you are buying for, like any other gift. it is therefore irrelevant whether he is soppy or not, it is only relevant whether you like to be given flowers or not.

Hope this helps someone.
