Long HauI international air travel is slowly becoming monopolised by the Arab State carriers. When they can pay pretty much zero for fuel it makes it extremely difficult for anyone else to compete. They've already taken over majority market share of the Eastern and Australian routes, transatlantic next.

Yeah. They have one with working ancillaries in France. I doubt it'd be able to fly here though. South Africa have English Electric Lightnings' but our aviation authority wouldn't allow them here

A French one - BA won't let them have one of theirs!

Concorde should probably be part of a showpony (flying) heritage fleet not a workhorse these days. Parts make the latter impossible and the former very difficult. The world would be very lucky just to see one fly now and again.
I like to fly BA as costly as they usually are, feels like a class act after spending so long on flying cattle trucks from the likes of Ryanair etc

Why is there a picture of Concorde on this deal? Air travel took a step back towards the dark ages once that plane was grounded.

Nope, because it only applies to flights upto 30 June so the landing page is a bit misleading to have Iran flight at the top as they dont fly until July!

Maybe you should go and judge it for yourself. That is the whole point of travel.

20% off but still a fuel surcharge despite aviation fuel costing peanuts . Justified by claims they bought theirs years in advance. Funny that didn't happen when the charges were imposed .

If you look carefully, you can still see Concorde when you travel from Heathrow. Concorde class is now reserved for newspapers however.
