bought this few months ago when we moved house this is surprisingly a really good toaster no frills but toasts really well would throughly recommend for this price my only complaint would be that slots are not wide enough for crumpets which is a shame
When our 4 way stainless steel gave up, bought one of these as a stop gap and it does the same job as more expensive toasters only without the frills . Will toast crumpets if you push/force them in , and turn off the power before and after (don't rely on them popping up as will stick) .
But like lots of toasters , you may have to turn the bread round , to toast it all.
Only downside is the tray beneath does not just pull out to allow cleaning, it does have screws holding in the base plate so you can still remove it if necessary.
