Bought these yesterday. They also had 400g for £2 which is slightly cheaper if you wanted a larger quantity. Not sure whether this is the usual price in Aldi because it didn't have any offer signs on the shelf. My local Aldi usually has large red labels proclaiming the huge 1p price reduction!

price goes up and down, they were £1.59 a couple of weeks ago. Must be dependent on availability

I bought 350g from Aldi yesterday for under £2. (£1.89 rings a bell) which is a better price per 100g.

I shop regularly at Aldi. They generally have great prices and the quality is excellent, more often than not.
The only thing which really narks me is that they don't label their packaged fruit and veg with a packing/best before date. You're never sure whether what you're buying has been sitting there for a couple of days or is fresh stock. Their broccoli sometimes seems to brown as soon as you get home, and raspberries turn to mush!!
I know there is a code on the packaging which shows a packing date, but it seems deliberately unhelpful not to have it in an easily understandable format (such as the well known number and month combination!)

You don't need dates, go by feel. I usually go for the stumpier broccoli that isn't spongey so you aren't paying for stalk

Seen these today in Wigan store but went for 350g pack for £1.99, still a good price though if you only want a smaller pack

Harder with soft fruits!
It just seems badness though, when the packs are dated, albeit in code.
