can't find the info at the Mo but they have a CE label on them and I read something about overcharge protection on the info.

Was in town (High Wycombe), noticed one so picked it up for messing about with electronics. Opened it up and it was practically just this, but with a battery. Not sure about the battery as it's unmarked. Packaging says 300-350 usage cycle and Li-Polymer batteries.

They had plenty of these in the poundworld in grays in essex so i grabbed a few. probably won't ever need them but when has that ever stopped me ? :smiley:

No doubt it is cheap but I hope everyone check out what's the output of this if it is 1a it will be pretty much useless, unless it is an iPhone (still not very good). The new android is a power hungry house below certain output you can't charge up with this (possible if you switch it off), same story for cheap car sub charger

I can't see much from the picture but this only looks the size of a single 18650 bank. Is it the same size as an EE powerbank?

As I pointed out, these are uk stock and must meet minimum safety standards and are not the ones posted direct from China from the likes of gearbest etc.

nice one, will keep an eye out for these in my local. offers like this tend to pop up randomly in different poundlands.

Its 1A so yes it can charge a modern device.

Would be perfectly fine in an emergency or to top up a MP3 player. If I needed to make an urgent call, I'd be grateful of a few minutes from a small battery pack, I think the bigger concern would be whether this could actually charge a modern device.

Had some in our Home and discount/Bargain. reasonable price for a 1200mah power bank i suppose, with most phones using larger batteries it typically will not fully charge your average smartphone but for some sort emergency that requires you not to have bought a spare phone battery they would do the job.

On the otherside as much as a fan as i am of cheap stuff, i wouldnt trust one of these as far as i could throw it lol and it wont be 1200mah more like 800 and its cycle count will probably be low.

Well I've been running one of the larger power banks by the same manufacturer for nearly 10 months with zero issues. Just because something is cheap doesn't make it a fire hazard.
