Just to be clear Jawz, I bought 12+1 from the people Steff1968 bought from on eBay, and they took what was starting to become a tense (have I been scammed??) 3hours 33mins (definitely not instant as they claim) to send me a pic .jpg via email. You should edit your title to say just 12 months because the 12 +1 is out of stock at electronicfirst.com and 12 months only is what appears on the weekly sale at £27.99. My son has not yet entered the code so cannot confirm it works but will update this when I know if it works or not. I see from the bid/purchase history on eBay that 82 people bought the same as me so far today and about the same yesterday. Son asks "why do people buy at £39.99 from TRUSTED retailers?"

As a side note he had a 14 day trial in his xb1 but as already on gold saved it for....now as live ran out. Input code and screen says no you're already on live, give to friend to trial? Is it likely

Even though your intentional irony was obvious, it doesn't make it any less of a brag. The irony even serves to cement it as a "PSEUDO brag". If you'd wanted to be ironic and not sound as though you were bragging you should have made your comparison blatantly untrue.

As for rolling out the old hukd trope involving deloreans and flux capacitors, I made the benefits of pointing out lower historic prices quite clear; even though a price may be the best currently available, making others aware that the price has recently and persistently been a lot lower shows that there is a good chance that item will soon be cheaper again. It's clear to anyone who has even a passing interest in xbox live that this price is high and waiting a week or two at the most will save you money.

I may be mistaken,,,, but I heard cdkeys prices have increased as ms changed how they distribute the xbl subs hence cdkeys have not been able to get them the same way previously hence price change. Hopefully that was all BS!

Also, to clarify, if you use the same gamertag (account) on both consoles (assuming you have both), you only need one XBlive gold subscription (and you can use them at the same time).

PLUS you can share the gold with other people in the house (Xbone only I think), so like in our house, I used to have to get two subs, one for me, one for my son, now we just share the one subs (and I get all his digital download games too!!!) :smiley:

OK, lets just simplify all this. For those who need Xbox Live right now this is probably the best deal. If you are willing to wait I would suggest you do, this is a bad price for something that has been sub £20 for at least the last year. I do agree with a previous posters comments that the price hike is to catch people out that only got 1 month trial with their consoles.Give it a week or two and I reckon this will be back down again.
