Are these just trial memberships or can you actually download the games for Gold using them?

99p for a week is £4 a month and £48 a year. Is it a good price? Justify it yourself based on your need.

You clearly don't know the difference. This is not about manning up, it's a matter of having a calculator by your side or not.

You didn't "give an estimate" you got it wrong. Just man up and admit your mistake (you obviously did 1 * 4 * 12)

No need for the brackets there.

(0.99/7)*365*0.95=£49.04
And you missed a day just everyone else here who think a year is 52 weeks but forget that it's 52 weeks and 1 day.

New accounts only? I'm sure their description is wrong and mean it works only for Xbox Live Silver accounts only. As in: You cannot add this to your current Gold subscription, or "stack" several codes to make a month...
Heat added by me - Simply because I don't spend a year on Xbox Live, but on my odd week off i dont mind paying £1 to play online.

I imagine their 5% facebook discount doesn't decrease the number of weeks in a year :man:

You cant complain for under £1 if you wanted to just try the service before you buy a longer subscription, these are often bundled with games and accessories, I would check the inserts of your games as you may have one of these already, also be aware of 1st comment as they say you can only ever use 1 trial
