Yes, but they come with Samsung's excellent Drive Manager software; this is useful if you need an external hard drive for a DVR to back-up video recordings as it is a painless way to reformat it to FAT32 (which my Humax requires). I used third party FAT32 software with another large drive and had nothing but problems. My Samsung/Seagate has been trouble free - so far!
