Excellent price for the EU Warehouse (they are charging more from their China Warehouse). Arguably the flashiest colour as well! EU warehouse so guaranteed no customs and delivery should be way quicker than stuff ordered from their China Warehouse.
Amazing spec for the asking price! The same processor as you will find in the HTC M9+!
Caveats:
Please be aware this version of the Redmi Note has NO SD card so if you are the sort who likes to put A LOT of stuff on your phone this 16GB version is most probably not the version for you!Non-removeable battery also.
Please also be aware this phone doesn't have the full spectrum of 4G bands so make sure it is compatible with your network before buying.
And, yes, it's Gearbest again but at the moment they seem to be oiffering the best deals on mobiles like this so no apologies.
Don't forget Quidco/Topcashback also available with this company.

Sounds like a good deal but be aware when ordering from Gearbest EU warehouse.
My experience: Ordered mobile from EU warehouse. Surprised to receive it from the far East by DHL. A week later received invoice from DHL to pay customs charges. Contacted Gearbest who say that EU warehouse was out of stock so they shipped from China warehouse and now refuse to pay the DHL charge. Did not inform me that EU warehouse was out of stock. Be warned.

Damn. Somehow my company name has gone missing off the address and so Hermes are sitting on it. No idea who to contact to get it redelivered but annoying as the postcode is only for two business in one building with a shared reception so they obviously didn't even bother trying... For info for anyone else buying from the Gearbest warehouse - http://www.oneworldexpress.com/ will give tracking info a lot sooner than hermes will as they are the 'eu warehouse'. The tracking info is at least 6 hours ahead of gearbest...
Edit: Looks like my email to one world express worked - Its been relabeled and is back with the courier! Hopefully tomorrow?
Edit 2: In case anyone finds this - It arrived Tuesday. Cracking phone for money. Pain needing to flash it to get a supported ROM from xiaomi.eu but for just over £100 I'm not complaining.

Seems to be a good deal, unfortunately the EU warehouse is out of stock, and I don't want to use the CN one (long delivery time, and possible customs issues).

They take around 2 business days to process the order, and then like 1 - 3 business days to deliver it.

Me too. Got the 32Gb model for £110 (worldpay rather than Paypal). Still waiting for dispatch 24+ hours later from EU warehouse. Gearbest did ask for copies of my ID + credit card to validate against fraud. Told them no way - they accepted it. Wonder if they are waiting a few days to dispatch in response.
(Note: paypal was £119 - With worldpay at £110 plus quidco (~£6) and points(~£4) seemed too cheap not to risk).

Tried to buy from Gearbest back in November, they took my money happily but 2 months later still haven't received my phone I ordered. contacted customer support several times. They have different excuses each time why it hasn't shipped. Asked for a refund and they only offered me a refund via their Points system so that I could buy something else from them. I wouldn't recormended buying from them.

Go for charge back through the card that you used. They claim off PAYPAL who get it back off Gearbest's, just as I threatened to do.

Thieves when you have a problem as I have mentioned on numerous posts, you need to open a Paypal dispute (PP are quite good with buyers to be fair).

This is a worrying trend, and a frequent occurrence and I wouldn't trust them again as the same thing happened to me. They offered to refund me 30% of my transaction by PayPal or 2/3 as store credit. These guys are con artists and I wouldn't recommend them. There's plenty of legitimate Far East sites to purchase this device from.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, has SD support, internals pretty similar smaller battery, no fingerprint scanner, and plastic build. I have the 32gb variant of this phone (Redmi Note 3) and I have had no issues at all. Got it for £140 back in December, exchange rate is making the prices a little more expensive now.

I have this model in my hand now but can't compare to what you have. I can say its a nice build, very nice screen and phone is fast. You will have to mess a little to get it working right though as the rom it comes with has been changed to include the play store but its a bit buggy. I have a custom rom on it based on current chinese rom and its pretty good. Comes rooted this rom but can un root with super su installed.
It will be some weeks before there is a stable international rom for it. You can install the weekly EU rom but that will require a boot loader unlock and twrp recovery installing. The rom I have can just be installed with the flash tool and is simple.
I would say if you happy changing roms then you will be happy if not stick to a UK model.
I like it but I am already thinking of getting an LG G Flex 2 due to trying a mates and loving it and the ease of it having a working rom out of the box.
