Always when I have no money, I need a proper PSU for a new build i've just done. Haven't bought a video card for it yet so it's just got an old X1300 and an £8 PSU I had as an emergency spare for the last 3 years

every computer shop on the planet use the five quid, as supplied with a case supplies... and its rare to find a dud!

Its not a case of finding a dud PSU, its your components inside that's likely to end up dead, using cheap psu's
