Good price for this, but I still think that Microsoft deliberately limited the quantities available in order to artificially create the demand and inflate the prices with the majority of retailers.
Once these become readily available at all retailers, I wouldn't be surprised to see some even better savings on them.

Bought three, two to replace my dodgy Day One Controller and a crappy flashing wired controller I bought - and one for a birthday present. They cancelled my order three days later saying they couldn't actually get hold of them. Pi$$ poor customer service if you ask me.

They are a terrible company. I ordered one of these over Xmas for them to cancel two days ago. Now they have the audacity to advertise them again. I would rather give the extra £20 to Amazon!

Everytime I have placed an order with them they have advised me they are awaiting stock for weeks and weeks and then cancelling. This has happened with a few games now.

This may seem like a 'good deal' but is it just me that finds nearly a £100 extortionate for a controller?
It's just a controller right?

Depends on how you value things I guess.
I personally wouldn't bother with one, but my 8 year old boy is adamant that he is saving up for one!!
Whilst £100 for a controller is a lot, it is probably better built than the standard ones, with a lot more features, and will last plenty of time so you will get your money's worth from it. If you compare that to going out for a meal, especially as a family, I can quite easily chuck £100 at a meal and you only get an hours worth of pleasure for that!! Or compare to a night on the beer, weekend away, night in a hotel etc. Sadly £100 isn't much money any more. :disappointed:

have a look at the scuff contrrollers to buy the same from them would be a lot more than this
also you can remap all the buttons via the app

I have an Elite controller. I don't think it's worth £100, probably better around £60-£70.

the day these cancelled amazon had stock, was delivered within 24hrs, i know it is timing to get one, but I'd rather do that than chance it with these fools.

That is true, but in comparison to the price paid for an Xbox one or PS4, it seems a lot. I recently bought a PS4 (the Uncharted deal with Fifa16) for £216. £100 is a lot for a controller. But I suppose everything is relative, I spend at least £70 filling up my car, and I don't even get very far... :disappointed:

Its not for casual gaming. If you are a COD/battlefield addict that gets extremely affected by the little American kids calling you names for poor performance then this is for you.
Its basically for people who are really into FPS online games and have to win.
Similar situation for games like Street fighter where a £150-200 arcade stick is a must for those really into it.

More triggers available for more areas of your hand mean more buttons available at a given time resulting in more diverse and accurate manoeuvres being possible for those that practice.
E.g try doing an evading jump with a spin midway in the air and shooting back at you opponent at the same time on a normal joypad.

still too expensive for what it is charging twice what the normal pad is worth is taking the pee never mind 110%

This, like everything else is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. What some consider too expensive is a great deal for others. Not every deal will cater to every person
