I'm only assuming that this is also the world's weakest suitcase aswell then - can't be light and durable surely? not voted either way

Complete rubbish. Don't buy them they are so flimsy and yr be lucky to get one flight out of them

Mine has done a few air miles and I can't grumble. it's serviced me well. I might invest in one of these too! :wink:

same with me. been used quite a few times, and is as good as new. I only paid £5 for mine though and £8 for the larger one. well worth £15 though

large suitcases from them definitely rubbish as they wont do one ight. but why people forgetting this is cabin size and you will be handling it yourself. been to Mauritius indirect flights without any issues...

unsure about the larger ones which have to go in the hold, but my cabin size has held up remarkably well and I pack to the limit, as I only ever do carry on - no checked luggage for me!

I could fit so much more in them when they were 30 inches, though.

Used one for 8 flights a year (abroad and back). Lasted about 8 flights before it was all bent out of kilter and ready for the bin. Don't bother. That was large version though which is simply too flimsy to go in the hold. If you are only handling this smaller one yursef may be OK, but don't expect great quality.

These are fine for hand luggage, other than that I think they'd be a waste of money

I've had the largest size of these for six years. It's flown round the world, used every year & has lasted well. I've had 32kgs in it (I can take the kitchen sink with me!) & it still stayed in shape. The only issue I had was when I first got it, the long handle slid in & out too easily. On its first flight, it must have slid open & got slightly bent, but the upside is that now it's stiffer to open therefore stays exactly the height it needs to be, or fully closed, so it actually did me a favour! I've definitely had my monies-worth out of my big one & would recommend it.

How heavy is it? How heavy is a more robust case of a similar size?

I've got the largest one too... seems that the people who have actually owned one of these have 'surprisingly' good feedback, yet all those sceptics seem to be so negative and judgemental. I guess anyone interested in buying now has enough of an insight that it won't fall apart if you sneeze on it! ;-)

Read "easiest case to break into" look online, you can open these soft suitcases a biro. Locked or not.

I suspect that they include "World's Lightest" as part of the product name as opposed to a statement of fact - crafty?

My gran had one of these, she did 2 round the world trips with, and she went to benidorm 4 times a year, and did approx 8000 air miles with it, including a trip to the north pole. she also smoked 80 fags a day and lived until she was 98,but unfortunatly got run over by a bus crossing the road, the bag is still fine though.

Owned the large one for 2 years, and never missed a beat, huge inside and SO light, also have 2 of the biggest hand luggage ones and these still look brand new, couldn't recommend them enough. we use them for 4-5 flights a year and countless weekends away.

I was sceptical to be honest at first, but they have 'life time guarantee's' so just kept the receipt and thought I would kick up a stink if they failed early on.

Am not sure that buying from B&M they would last as hold luggage, I got mine from Tesco, the small one that's been used loads as hand luggage, i worked CS in a large retail outlet and suitcases were the most returned damaged/ unfit for purpose items I had to refund ... Good luck takin it back there for a refund lol

The only ones on sale are too large for cabin luggage but realistically too small for hold luggage- an odd size which is probably why they're on sale.. Agree with the comments that they are excellent for cabin luggage I am nervous entrusting them to the hold luggage conveyors but have used a large one several times now for shorthaul to max my 15kg limit and must admit to being a bit surprised by how well it's holding up. Prefer to use a solid sided for long haul where weight limits tend to be more generous. Heat for posting
