Must admit I know about using Google Chrome...hence the reason I mentioned about using an automatic translation service...also have to admit I did mean to put such as that available with Google Chrome but was trying to multi-task and write the guide while listening (albeit not too attentively) to a friend who was in at the time and it completely slipped my mind to pop it in despite mentioning the automatic translation service.

Mind you I also know that not everyone wants to use Google Chrome so thought I'd also write an in-depth guide for anyone that wasn't using it :wink:

Still regretting not paying any attention to French at school although in saying that am now becoming quite adept at translating info on the Amazon French site without using Google Chrome so if I keep visiting the site regularly I could be bi-lingual on the DVD front by the end of this year :stuck_out_tongue:

Series 1 was awesome. Gave up after S2. Will try OITNB.

I loved this show - one of the best US comedies of recent years (30 Rock is another fave). Sadly, it looks like this offer is already over now - it's 49.99 Euros (exc. postage) when I follow the offer link.

Sexy as hell but it wanders greatly after series 3.

Excellent guide, but there's a much easier way to do it.

Simply use Google Chrome web browser and use the translate site function and you have it all in English.

Oh one other point if you order more than one DVD set there seems to be a very minimal increase in the shipping costs...I ordered 5 different DVD sets (Hung Complete Seasons 1-3, Queer as Folk USA Complete Seasons 1-5, Weeds Seasons 1-8, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Seasons 1-6, Lois and Clark Complete Seasons 1-4) and total shipping to the UK was 5.65 Euros or approximately £4.35.

For anyone unsure how to order from Amazon France here's a step by step guide I posted on one of the other DVD deals from Amazon France that I previously posted...hope it is of help to someone :innocent:

Layout is exactly the same as Amazon UK just the buttons are in French unless you have an automatic translation service enabled....

Step 1) go to item page, select Ajouter au panier (add to basket)
Step 2) Next page has a yellow button entitled Passer la commande which translates to place order..click this if you're happy to proceed.
Step 3) Sign in with your Amazon UK details (email and password)
Step 4) Click Continuer
Step 5) Select your shipping address in the UK (Envoyer a cette adresse = Ship to this address)
Step 6) Next page Livraison Rapide should have a black dot next to it...this is the cheapest shipping option...click continuer
Step 7) Next page has your registered payment options from Amazon UK...select the card you want to use...click continuer
Step 8 Final page...just select whether you want to pay in GBP using Amazon's exchange rate or Euros (final price will be based on whatever exchange rate your bank is using and possibly a charge for conversion).
Step 9) Final step click the yellow Payer en GBP (or Euros) depending on payment method you selected and that's your order placed.
