I used to work at a B&Q and the reason they seem solid in store is cos they're made up and glued together so they dry solid and when people wobble em they don't move much but trust me make em up at home and they ain't worth a carrot I bought a pine chest of drawers from there once brand new not one of they're value ones like this and it still fell apart, bottom came out of one drawer and ball bearings came out of one of the other runners and drawer always kept falling out, save your money and go to ikea :sunglasses:

Bedside tables are £9 each if picked up at store. They seem reasonably sturdy, as does the drawer chest, but the wardrobe was very flimsy and the doors didn't glide well - at least the one in the Norwich store.

Worth noting if you don't want all three they are currently available separately (for the same total price).
I bought two bedside cabinet's and the chest of drawers yesterday, so much better quality than Argos. I think they are reduced because there's a mistake in the assembly instructions.

Tried to buy these online, said there was a problem with the payment twice and to try again so I did, still didn't work. Checked my bank account and took the payment twice but no order. Called them up and apparently it has happened to quite a few people, it take the money but doesn't generate the order so you have to get authorisation code from your bank and then they have to contact their bank to cancel the payments which can take 48 hours! They advised to order over the phone rather than online due to the issues they are having this today. Great deal though and will order via phone when the money is refunded!

Went in to buy today, walked out. Terribly flimsy, all of them, and appalling quality

Bought all 3 items from B&Q Poole this evening, incredible value for money.
This is not cheap tat from the Far East, it is made in Denmark by a company called Tvilum.
The thing is, with any flat pack furniture, it's all according to how you put it together. Use a decent wood glue and glue all the joints. If you have even moderate DIY skills then add additional brackets and bracing as appropriate, it will pay off in the long run. With a bit of extra time and effort you can make decent long lasting items from these kits. We still have items from this manufacturer bought over a decade ago that have survived a house move and are still solid and functional.
Oh and just to say, don't believe the website when it says this is not stocked at your local store, it said that for Poole, but there is plenty of stock in store.
Best bargain I've seen on flat pack for a long time. Fill your boots!

The wardrobe is £25 in Southampton store but according to B&Q head office it is not £25 but £50 in store? Weird? Also they do not deliver this set online!

In my local B&Q it was misleading. The wardrobe comes in 2 boxes. Each box is marked at £25 but you need box 1 and 2 so it is £50 in total.
