Just been into Farm Foods in Chadderton and noticed the walnut whips were 10p. Not my thing but might be useful to someone else.

I bought one of these when I was teenager. It had a big hair sticking out of the top of it, It was like a conker on a shoestring, I've never bought one since that day.

Nice one. Was in my local Farm foods yesterday. Didn't have these for 10p. Found a pack of 6 in Iceland tho' for £1.50

Years ago my local newsagents used to remove the walnuts from the top of walnut whips and sell them separately. He used to replace the walnuts on the top with pigeon lime. True story.
Then again he had a habit of throwing in a free cigarette in kids sweet bags as he said he had to look after his business.

I remember, back in the day, some M&S whips that had flavours like orange inside, not sure if they still sell them but I remember them always being at the tills, buying them and then putting them straight into my belly before i even got home.... they were lush :smile:
