Several little waitrose branches, east putney had the largest clear out. Normal waitrose stores were closed today so may be NATIONAL tomorrow.

I know this not really relevant to this post, but I was not impressed to find the Banstead branch was closed today when I got there, having checked beforehand on their website where it said they would be open.

Tricky that! When checking waitrose opening times be sure to click on 'seasonal opening hours' as it does not come up automatically.

Heston mince pies were 29p in the Sanderstead branch today as were puff mind pies. They had some Lindt balls in a giant bowl reduced to 99p too.

Thats fantastic, i think pricing is down to individual store managers. The store i refer to had hand written price tags!
