ok , probably only for those of us still with a bog standard CD player in the car , like me ! but they're good quality and reasonably cheap.
Ideal for burning music CDs or archiving data, these Verbatim CD-R discs come in a spindle pack of 25 and have a 700MB capacity. Each blank recordable disk has a 52x burn speed and can hold up to 80 minutes of audio recording. Furthermore, the Extra Protection surface provides an added layer for the vulnerable label side, so you can write on the CD-R with a marker pen.

Still very useful to burn music to CDs (to listen on the car while travelling), Linux distros (old PCs that are unable to read USB sticks) or just basic backup if USBs/HDDs aren't an option.

Peops---If the offer has finished, try this alternative, a lot less than £28
I always imagined SD cards, USBs or some other non-disc type storage format to
be the next format, ever since I was a kid.
I knew even back then that discs were bad idea
with how easily scratch-able, breakable and decay-able they are. :disappointed:
Technology needs to advance faster than this!
I bet they already have these terabyte SD cards but they probably want
to sell advancements in tiny improvements at a time.
Kinda like what Apple does. :stuck_out_tongue:
But I guess that's business. :disappointed:

It's amazing how far we have gone (technologically) when a small micro.sd card has much more space than this  how long shall we wait before we get 1 terabyte on a sd card
