Bought a decent bread knife from Morrison's this morning (Tynemouth shop) now reduced to £4, from £7.
I actually passed a display with empty racks in the Christmas sale section and just thought I was too late. In the next aisle, the real home section there are the same knives but no mention of any reduction.
I was actually needing a new bread knife, so went back to check the prices and was glad to see they were on offer. A few others too, including a small Asian knife, also £4 from £7
15 year guarantee, so seems a decent sort of deal to me

Fantastic knives. I got the set a few years ago and they are worth their weight in gold. Mind your fingers though!

Kitchen knives are one of those things that it's worth spending money on. Get a decent set and it will last you for years. Buy £4 knives and they will be rubbish, and you'll be constantly replacing them. Will save you money in the long run if you stump up for some good ones.

Actually, they're very good. I use them in preference to my Sabatier set. I have the small and large Control Asian (Santoku) cooks knifes and the Control bread knife.

They're all a steal for £4. I will be popping over to Morrison's to buy some more later!
