It's sad to see this has been voted hot for paid click and collect when there are other good deals posted getting cold votes

After you mentioned, i look on web and saw. That is supermarket suicide.
I hope people really listen up, and spread the word across facebook etc! If we all say that we are going boycott this extra profit margin tax from tesco. They might listen up, from fear of us the consumer. People power can make a difference, so dont be a sheep, and stand up for your rights.
Tesco have been hit hard by not listen to us consumer. Being over priced for goods and being under cut.
Every little help's, well it's certainly not helping us. So let's help them, help us, by getting things right.

Really are you sure on that? So they want to lose more custom? Idiots!
Whole point of everyone doing click and collect is to save money.

Or you can simply buy something to take you over the £30, and then get a refund in store as soon as you pick up your click and collect order. A bit of a hassle but will save you £2 and when tesco realise that this is what everyone is doing, they should scrap the charge.

Cold for the C+C.
Have these stores not realised that when we buy a low price item with free click and collect we often buy other things whilst in the store? One good thing - the introduction of this charge will mean a severe drop in low priced impulse buys, so I'll actually save money, as I won't be going in the store in the first place! I certainly don't buy anything like the number of things from Amazon that I used to since they introduced the minimum £20 spend..

No, it's not an extra profit margin tax. If you didn't realise, with such a large surge in people wanting to click and collect, companies therefore need to employ/pay extra staff to deal with click and collect purchases - all of which costs extra cash. Initially when click and collect was launched, there weren't many customers taking advantage of it as it was still a new concept and therefore companies could afford to pay for the service, but now, it's becoming unsustainable.
Don't really understand why everyone immediately thinks any extra charge is "greed". Sometimes, there's a perfectly acceptable reason behind it.

You must be new around retail. Men don't matter, only women do, you see.

From early February 2016, we will be introducing a £2 delivery charge for Click+Collect orders under £30 at Tesco direct. This will help ensure we can continue to offer you the convenience of picking up your order from your chosen store at a time that suits you.
A free Click+Collect option will still be available for orders over £30 on Tesco direct, and there's no change to our home delivery options. Our Delivery Saver customers will benefit from a minimum spend of just £10 for free Click+Collect on Tesco direct.

Bought these last week, they're nice. They weren't reduced as much in store as they were online. So buying a couple of packs cancelled out the price of click and collect.
