Marketed as ps4 chat cable but works for xbox one, My usage is connecting astro a40's, getting chat on xbox one has been a pain, hopefully this will help a few people, originally i get my xbox one and realise no 2.5mm audio jack, instead of messing with adapters i get the new controller, but they now have 3.5mm jacks, so i get an adapter and that doesnt work, get a 3.5mm to 2.5mm generic cable, that doesnt work, it has to be 4 pole on the 3.5mm end and 3 pole on the 2.5mm end and so this cable is i believe the only branded official cable that enables that, ther is no cable directly marketed to xbox one to do this job, and when i looked a few weeks ago the cheapest i could see this cable was £15 as so few places had it in stock, sorry for the long post but ther must be lots of you in the same situation and hopefully this might explain

I ordered a cable from cpc, yes it was cheaper but it doesnt work, wrong pole structure on the end, so your comment is rather pointless, so yeah people dont bother to be tempted by a cheaper cable unless the ends look identical to this one

I have some PX5's that I bought for my PS3, upgraded to PS4 and had to buy this cable - works a dream! it's about 1m long (enough to play comfortably)
even says "xbox control" when you plug them in and turn on...

Whole point of this cable is to avoid buying a headset adapter if you have the new style controllers
