dont have to worry about the Waterproof. the only thing you may disappoint is the packing bag.

I have one of these (got it for £7 last year).

There is no way this can be deemed waterproof. It’s showerproof at best. Anything heavier and you will get very wet underneath. Even then, the water will stay within the upper layer of the jacket and not bounce off like one which is waterproof.

Material quality is ok, colouring around the collar/cuffs will fade quite quickly…however, quite durable, ok for ventilation, hideaway hood, zip pockets.

I’ve upgraded to a coat which is actually waterproof…but kept this one just in case.

Thank you! Heat added as it led me to get the Black 3-in-1 coat ~£23 for jacket plus removable fleece! The 3-in-1 doesn't have inside pockets despite a Q&A saying it did...

Exactly right: also good for walking, these fold up fairly small to fit into a day-sack or the side pocket of a rucksack.

It's not a winter jacket, it's a rain jacket, good for keeping in the car just in case you get caught out.
