Even 10p is too much for an unplayable game

Good price but I found these games hard enough to control on a PS controller, dread to think what a touch screen is like.

I remember playing Tomb Raider on PS1 and never got too far. Gameplay was terrible and awkward.

Download Google Rewards then you don't need to worry about 10P at all.

Fantastic price.
I'm not sure if it's related to the above comment, but I couldn't even move in this game. The chances are I could have been acting relatively stupid, but honestly, I couldn't even control Lara with those horrendous controls.

Good deal although the entire trilogy is in the lowest (one dollar) Humble Bundle tier currently! https://www.humblebundle.com/ (with other games).
Might be a better option if you have a Windows computer, and more than 10p to spare and want the full trilogy and some other games too.

Had been meaning to replay levels 7 and 8 of TR1 since about 1999. Finally got around to that with my brother over xmas. The levels were smaller and less scary than I remember, but fun.

Forget about it unless you use it on a tablet with a proper controller. It's unplayable any other way tbh

Playing with a dualshock 4 and it's still so unforgiving. You really forget how much modern games hold your hand.

Make sure you give the game access to storage, 6.0 works differently than before with permissions.

Worth a shot for 10p. Controls are a wee bit tricky on some of the hard jumps but it's not unplayable. heat.

Persist for the first level then you get used to the controls being a bit lame and you only miss out on reliable back flips so you take a clubbing but worth the money to waste some of your time to add to that you wasted in the 90's.

Does Lara still have triangular 'assets' in this or are they more naturally shaped?

Games on mobile are straight garbage unless there are one or 2 buttons, ala Flappybird.
To have any enjoyment you really need a bluetooth controller, or a Moga or something.

Thanks, OP. Bought it. Hope it's playable! I tried to play the originals a few weeks back, but the D-pad was a nightmare. Can't imagine touchscreen will be much better though. (But freakin' love these games!)

It was landmark game on the PS1, nothing wrong with the controls either. The only problems can remember was getting used to some of the edge detection points for successful flips etc..
Also think you had to complete a level to produce a save point, TR2 had a set points after difficult stages which made it a bit more forgiving..? No problem completing it..
