Read their reviews on Titan, I work in the trade and they are ****, they last 5 seconds before breaking.
They never have anything in stock, even when you order things next day they either come broken or are missing parts when the courier has thrown them around, staff leave you waiting around about 20 mins for your order/s while standing around the corner looking at a computer screen (trust me I've witnessed this), lack of after sales, don't every try to take anything back as you straight away your faced with a cocky Manager that basically throws you out of the shop.
Also if your sad like me and have a collection of past screwfix catalogues you'll notice that prices have been creeping up in the past two years.
I Much prefer Tool Station now, prices are cheaper, they have stuff instock and there's no waiting around, you can see staff picking your order and not standing around picking their noses.

I work in the trade also and use this tool.
It's heavy but I use it for everything from chasing out walls, to drilling and jiggering concrete off fencing posts etc.
It's a solid tool and I've had it 3 years now.
The Titan impact driver on the other hand is utter garbage. I've had 2 fails on me in 2 months.
Good deal.

not sure about the 2kg version that was the one i thought i wanted but contrary to the reviews for the chisel function which im using at mo the heavier one is spot on think you get more drill bits etc too. i could image if trying to drill into a lintel etc high up the weight would matter. my next job is fence post removal so again the weight will be a benefit.

I have one of these it's brilliant for the money. It comes with a load of bits as well. These do get discounted and I have seen them as low as £40.i paid £50 for mine it's one of the best value tools I have bought. The one I got came with a huge chisel bit to take up concrete. For the money it's ridiculously good value. Generally Titan are decent for what you pay. I also have a reciprocating saw from them whuch is very useful. I have hammered it over the last couple of years still working.

Great drill. Bought loads from Screwfix, no problems. Returns are easy and painless. Never left waiting more than 5 mins. One point of note, this drill is always £59.99 (or less) so note sure if this is a deal.

I have this exact drill.
I had it for a year, it broke after 19 months, they gave me a refund no quibbles.
I bought another exact same one.
The drill is made by DeWalt - obviously not as good as their "proper" drills, but for non-trade or occassional trade users this is ideal

Made an account specifically to post this:
I am a completely amateur DIY'er and I own one of these, bought it for £20 more. Whilst replacing a seciton of fencing, I used it to breakout concrete around two fence posts, to drill 20 fixings (yes rework!) and drill 5 holes through 3mm steel plate. Adding up all of this work (incl the fencing) would have cost twice as much if I had got someone in to do it. I also get a SDS drill at the end and more knowledge. This is what these tools are for. If you are on a construction site, you buy Hilti and pay £300 for the same tool and smash it to bits over a year. At £60, it's a no brainer.
I think the OP also forgot that it comes with a keyed chuck adaptor turning it into a very powerful corded screwdriver, but you should resist the urge to use to drill wall plugs. Use an 18v power drill instead.

The trick to screwfix is to order in advance and collect it instore. It will be waiting for you then and doesn't need to be picked.

These are great for the small uses I have used mine for.
Needed an SDS for some small DIY work. Still going strong now.
It comes with starter bits (18 piece) & a carry case.
I paid £69.99 for my one nearly 3 years ago

For the price it's very good. Lasted me 3 years with heavy usage, way past what id expect for the money. Bought another one with out hesitation. So cheap you can use and throw away. As for screwfix no issues with them, used them alot instore/ online for years. To balance tool station are also brilliant. Just wish they had a review system online. If your diyer no brainer for me, if your trade same tbh.

have plenty of Titan tools from screwfix for DIY use, have actually had 3 of these over 7 years, im not going to say they will last a lifetime because they clearly don't but for value for money they are exceptional, i also own the larger 15kg Titan breaker, its seen some serious use and is still going strong. as the other poster said some are hit and miss, i found this with the 1/2" router, the depth locking mechanism is terrible and works loose but again still very usable if you tighten it as you go, can also vouch for the 4.5 and 9" grinders both have taken tons of abuse

Bought one of these a couple if years back to assist with fixing some posts into a concrete base. Think I paid 39.99 but the accessory set mine came with was slightly fewer items. I can't fault it other than its a lot more bulky than the ordinary drills I've used up till now so it's very rarely used by me as I'm only an amateur diy guy so don't need something this powerful very often.
On the subject of customer service I've always found my local screwfix staff are very helpful as are the toolstation and wickes and selco staff I've dealt with locally.

I also am also trade. First off titan do not make tools their tools are rebrands and as such they are hit or miss. This thing is a hit.
Check the reviews on it. 94% of people who buy it recommend it. I have had this thing 2 years. I have gave it absolute hell and its still going. The chuck is sometimes a little sticky but Thats it.
Pros...it will punch a hole through just about anything. Goes through granite like butter.
Cons. Poor accuracy a lot of wobble when using a very long bit but with a little skill that doesnt matter once you engage.
This is a great buy. If by chance you get a dodgy one screwfix take back stuff no quibble.

I got this for a diy kitchen renovation. Easily my best tool purchase, If you don't own an Sds get one you'll be amazed at how useful they are. Makes mincemeat of holes where my makita struggled. Great for chiseling concrete, lifting tiles. Stirring concrete and plaster (with paddle bought separately).

For light trade work or to make drilling easy at home for the diy person these are brilliant for the money. If you try taking up a concrete patio with this then it won't last. I carry my similar drill I paid £45 many years ago, it's on my van safe in the knowledge its at hand if needed. I can risk it getting stolen, while the good stuff I keep locked up at home and only carry to jobs when I need them. Well worth the money if you use it sensibly
