I was looking for a Gauntlet case for my Macbook, but happened to come across this, Surely looks like a bargain, I haven't bought one so don't know if it will go through at this price.

So if I usually sell a bag of turds for £10 but I sell you one for £5 that's a good deal?

Really? I have Thule cases for my 2 x MacBooks and my daughter has this for her iPad Air. EXCELLENT QUALITY products. Well made, reputable manufacturer and do their jobs perfectly.

Considering my iPad currently has no protection. Less than a sky diver for a case is spot on. Ordered, well happy

Has this product delivered a few days ago. I have had it on my iPad since. I must admit I am rather impressed with it. It is a quality case, and it does offer protection. Look no Case really protects an iPad (unless you bulk it out with an otterbox). For our family needs its perfect.

Again, I received mine today.
Really good quality, in some ways better even than the original and with this offer all for just a very small fraction of the price of that one.

Agreed, it was the reference to "Magnetic cover automates wake/sleep functionality " that I took to mean it is Smart.
According to the manufacturer spec it is a smart cover.

The original iPad case and copies have an edge that snaps on right around the sides of the iPad, I'm not sure how 'safe' this Thule case is going to be having the iPad secured at just two corners and the opposite side. Those plastic arms and corners don't look very sturdy. If one of those corner clips fails, there's nothing there to stop the iPad falling out of the case, at least with the 'other' types of case the iPad is secured all around the sides. Just my tuppence worth.

These cases are brilliant. Had one on my ipad Air since I bought it last January and it's still in immaculate condition. Mine cost £20+ and was worth every penny even at that price. Super bargain.

So your basing your vote based on how the product performs rather than whether it's a good deal? Riiiiiiight, because that makes sense with a site named HOTUKDEALS.

I've seen these and they look like they will provide decent enough protection. Are we all sure this is genuine at this price? It is VERY cheap!

sparxuk, recently got the Gauntlet 2.0 case for the 13" for £29.99 from Amazon, recommended.
15" version 1's were on eBay Argos clearance for same price I think, almost bought the bigger one till I found the right size at this price.

Will this fit an iPad Air 2? See in the questions someone asked and the reply was there is an Air 2 version of the case. However are there any significant differences between both Air models?

Thanks for the info. If it does not work out I will let it go on FS/T.

Yes, I have just bought one having read some very reasonable reviews and watched a good youtube review.
Whether it would have been worth anything like the £50 odd RRP I have no idea, but at this price it is a steal.
I have been using the Apple original case since buying the iPad Air.
That cost a lot! It has now suffered from the heat and humidity of my travels though, coming apart at the seams, and I wouldn't pay that much again.

just bought 2, im sure it has some degree of protection, as my current one has done a fine job of protecting my ipad. further more i look after my stuff which is why it lasts. no case will protect it 100% if you are rough with a fragile item.
naff colour but good value!

But you don't vote based off it's performance. You vote based on whether it's a good deal, £3 is a good deal for something that normally costs £20 - £30. And even if it isn't worth £3, it's £3 versus £20 - £30.
