Just been watching this on Netflix as didn't watch it originally. Its excruciating and hilarious. Liked the Xmas special, great sendoff. A film with David Brent character is out this year too.

Great for Ricky Jervais playing Brent in The Office. It's just a shame that every single other character he's ever played since was also Brent out of The Office.

the US version is really good. after the first episode its basically a different programme completely. but I think it didn't do as well In the UK because everyone thought it was some crappy remake

First season of US - not great. It's all gravy after that until Scott leaves, then quality dips somewhat but still watchable - unlike last season of Parks and Recreation which just threw itself under a bus quality-wise.
