Great price if you missed out on the Special Edition for £35. May be worth noting that the Wolf Link amiibo possibly features DLC content which may be interesting for Zelda fans so the £40 GameSeek deal is perhaps better.

I think this is a great price for stand alone game. As was the 35 with amiibo but that ent available.

The good thing about standalone Wii U UK copies is that they'll have the green colour stripe on the spine and the PEGI rating. I loathe the USK rating cause it's so damn big and ruins the artwork sometimes.
Not gonna get into the other rating which says an age in a white rating box (look up Xenoblade X Special Edition cover and you'll see it spammed with rating logos).

Not bad, glad I got the Amazon £35'er. Selling the Amiibo and CD - I want to make the game as close to free as possible.

If the rumours are true then there's DLC content on the Wolf Link amiibo so if you open and then still want to sell it there's CeX, plus it's not like it's worth much since the RRP is 14.99€ (in UK it'll be the standard RRP which is £10.99).

Sweet, so if i tap the wolf NFC once it unlocks the DLC and then i can sell it? I.e dont need to keep using it to access the DLC

Has the rumour is there's a new dungeon only available via the amino been confirmed or denied by Nintendo?

Nearly £30 for one ten year old game? **** off. Both Halo and Uncharted included multiple games running upto 60fps along with other improvements and cost £35 or less at launch. This 30fps "remaster" is an absolute rip-off in comparison.

It costs more because it's a Nintendo game otherwise it'd be half of what it's going for. Still, this is the cheapest price out there for anyone who wants to get a legit unaltered version of Twilight Princess (TPWii is mirrored).

amazon france had this in the description - "The new Wolf Link Amiibo even allows you to get into a new dungeon: 'The Twilight Cave'." but have since removed it. If they are really locking out content such as a dungeon behind an amibo then that's just bloody stupid. It's as bad as all the other amibo locked stuff in other games, essentially they're like EA with on disk locked DLC.. The game should already only be about £15 given it's not even a remake like the Halo Anniversary games, which look worlds apart. Instead just being an enhanced port with a few things added and textures swapped out for slightly higher res ones. From what I've seen of the screens it looks no where near as good as I'd expect. But it's no doubt just a quick cash in to them. They don't care about giving us what we want if it will cost them more.

To do that you'd either have to remove the Amiibo from the packaging or tamper with the packaging to be able to scan it. Either way you'd hurt the resale cost.

CeX/GAME etc accept loose figures without loss of value.

Not exactly. Most amiibos have a metal clip blocking users from using the content so it requires to open the packaging. As I said most, from what appears the Shovel Knight amiibo seems to be the exception.
Precisely! Last year I sold all my amiibo unboxed figures to CeX (about 10-15 or so) and got £185 back in cash. This was when amiibos still had resale value.

I was looking forward to this but the whole Amiboo nonsense has put me off buying it, paying full whack for an old title is already taking the Michael so there's no way I'm paying even more for the version with the toy to unlock all the content.
