It could be argued that putting the equivalent of a Tesco "Everyday Value" label on the re-issues, actually preserves the desirability and finite numbers of the original for collectors.

If you want the orginal, it's only £20 on Amazon. Still cheap imo for one of the best games released for the 3DS.

this has to be answered by nintendo.why they don't just reduce the price of original version and force the new select version with different and un-attractive artwork cover at cheaper price?
many people appreciate the artwork and cover and collect games..these select versions have a ugly cover that no collector wants..

Just the cheaper looking artwork usually. Don't see the point the game's the same, why not just reduce the original product?
