The greatest tragedy about the TV series was that there was never a satisfactory conclusion.
It just stops abruptly. I think the network pulled the show or something.
Ideally the bumbling, inept Jack McGee would have finally caught up with Dr David Banner but it never happens.
The films of the 80s/90s are just terrible!

I think Bill Bixbys poor health due to cancer probably didnt help either. He died couple of years after doing the last movie

Had no bearing as the TV series was pulled in 1982 & Bixby didn't die until 1993.

My point is that health was not the reason for not continuing the TV series.
But doesn't explain why Bixby & his team didn't continue from 1982+
I imagine financing/getting someone to air it might've been a problem?
Who knows!

Classic series and some classic episodes especially Prometheus part 1 & 2. And of course the pilot is just heartbreaking. Best hulk ever.

It was that sad music at the end that always got me *sniff*.
The Littlest Hobo's tendency to walk away from every new friend he met at the end of each episode, was something he had in common with David Banner

yeah I was thinking the same, felt sorry for him. :disappointed:
Absolutely spot on, the final credits music was the heart breaker.
However, unlike The Littlest Hobo, I don't recall David Banner ever licking his balls or sniffing someone else's backside.

actually despite the shows cancellation there was another tv movie in the offing that would have brought Nicholas Hammonds Spiderman on-board. Sadly it was indeed Bill Bixby's untimely death that ended the legacy.
