Tesco are asking if you'd like a frozen bag for 1p at the checkout. I guess they are clearing the Christmas designs. Two designs available, Fox and Santa.

i'll be in tesco later this morning - i shall ask for a 100 bags then at 1 p a bag!!

Yes the new law only applies to single use carrier bags

They clear to zero which allows the store to get rid of them quick and cheap, some stores has aloud staff to have them, tesco wouldn't sell them at Xmas time due to it being foil lined which makes it easier for thieves

They're normally £3.99 and previously were free when you spent £10 on frozen food. Will be a national offer but they don't get much stock of them in. They're often on the shopping bag display

They weren't marked up, they just had them at the checkout and were asking if you wanted to buy any for 1p each.

It was at their Worcester 2 store. As they scan at 1p on the system wouldn't they be 1p in any store that has stock?
