I have now ordered 3 of these to use as a surround gaming monitor setup, I bought the first one a few weeks ago to confirm what features it has and spec. HDMI ports are all 2.0 (meaning 4k at 60hz) with HDMI1 port being HDCP 2.2 compliant for 4k on amazon fire tv. The chroma I tested and you need to go into input settings and set the HDMI port to Enhanced to get the test Chroma image to show correctly, not sure if full 4:4:4 but certainly at least 4:2:2 as the chroma test image shows however isn't as clear as a standard monitor. Smart features are smooth thanks to the quad core processor and games in 4k look amazing on it with an 8ms pixel response and 36ms video input response. Also worth playing around with display presets to get a picture that you feel comfortable with. Hoping to get a total of 4 of these to end up with an 80 inch 8k video wall for under £1000. The 40 inch and 48 inch seem pretty similar with the 55 inch one having a passive 3d panel (guessing they might be using LG passive tech or panels). Any other questions please ask but defo a good buy :smiley:

Well I voted it hot I also went ahead and ordered the 48" 4K smart model listed at £398 but used the tenneroff promo code and when you deduct the £75 cashback discount on the model the site is offering which is payable within 21 days after delivery total cost for a 48* 4k smart tv £313. The tv is for my bedroom so not really wanting a high budget set I did plan to get 43" but at this price I was swayed. I'm not to fussed on the smart features the average cost added to models for smart embedded is £50 I know how over time that side of the tv becomes dated an really best way to keep a tv smart is to buy a separate box from the wealth of options out their I have an android box £30 4k quad core so my new tv will become more smarter then any embedded features it has.

Any idea whether it supports full chroma at 2160p60, and not just 4:0:0?

Probably not more than 1 or at most 2, I used to use 2x AMD R9 270 in crossfire and it would only handle 3 1080p monitors, now using a Nvidia GTX 980 OC which until my other 2 monitors arrive currently handles 2x 1080p monitors, the 4k tv and an ultrawidescreen (2560x1080) at once. I do alot of game streaming and online video production.

For the video wall I'm using a Lindy 4k video wall processor which I managed to get cheap on amazon but yeah I might have to add a second 980 at some point but defo alot cheaper than existing 8k solutions and the bezel is pretty small so hopefully will look good :smiley:

You will be limited to 30hz/30fps via the HDMI socket as the 7870 doesn't support HDMI 2.0.
However Club 3D recently released this Displayport adapter which might be worth a look:

Seems reasonably priced at £14.99 and should allow you to run at 60Hz which will be much nicer for desktop use and browsing. The 7870 doesn't really have enough power for 4K gaming but you could switch back to 1080p or possibly 1440p if the TV supports that resolution. ImJessicat may be able to test that for you :smiley:

Also wouldn't recommend running this at 1440p as it won't look great with not being the panels native resolution

The Club 3D adaptor is definitely HDMI 2.0 and was designed as a cost effective solution to this issue.
I sometimes use my 50" 4K screen at 1440p and it's surprisingly good (Panasonic CX700 / GTX 980Ti)

Took a picture while in game to give an idea of quality, will have to zoom to see properly

What is this like for desktop resolution at 4k? I'm using an amd r9 270 which supports the resolution. Just wondering how much screen estate you get compared to a 21" 1080p monitor and what font/icon sizing is like in comparison?

Set one of these up for a mate. Run for a few days. Now it switches off when connecting HDMI. runs ok on Digital aerial. Any ideas anyone?

anyone else find the motion blur/ smoothing off-putting on TV and DVD?

We are running two of the 40inch techwood panels. They are exceptionally good value. 4K picture quality is outstanding at this price. 1 is used for gaming and is very good.. a v small amount of motion blur but pretty fast all things considered. Other has a Pi3 strapped to the back and makes a great media/ internet browser and much smarter than the inbuilt Smartness. Netflix is built in including on the remote and works well even with 4k content over wifi. Sure it isn't quite in the same league as our main Sony 65 inch 4K ....but has similar numbers of USB/HDMI connectors and decent picture quality.. what more could you ask for at this price ?

Mine is faulty now bought on february 2016. Backligt problems in settings from 0 to 10 going up and from 11 to 100 nothing change. Now picture is so dark.

AO took TV and refund me.

Has anyone been able to connect a Bluetooth headset to this TV? It has Bluetooth but cannot connect headset?
