yes i have one of these , build and sound quality is very good for the price you are paying, power switch need to be on while charging and buttons are really small are the two things i find difficult with these headphones.

well these have turned up today. whilst i won't be taking them out of the box or using them for the moment, they certainly look the part and appear to be sturdily built.

look good for the price vs the weird unbranded ones that just broke!

Bluetooth headphones are probably going to go up in price in the near future as the new iPhone 7 is rumored to have no 3.5mm earphone jack, so this is a brilliant price.

And at some point Apple will try to do away with bluetooth too because it is "low range and low bandwidth, not in line with their cutting edge brand"

Pretty sure the audio out will be through the (lightning?) socket.
They can't really go wireless for audio as some airlines don't allow bluetooth in flight.
Price now £17.99 - but still a good deal by the looks of it.

Usually an increase in volume means a decrease in price

I didn't mean to say that bluetooth will be the only method for audio on iPhone 7's, I'm pretty sure they'll give you earphones in the box that connect to the charger port, and then someone will make a converter like a small wire that leads to a female jack, but if I were to own a iphone 7 (which I will go no where near) I'd rather go the bluetooth route, get to listen to music while the phones charging, don't have to carry a converter around with you (if you were to use non-Apple earphones) etc. Either way, it just seems like bad business to me. If Samsung/Google Nexus devices (arguably Androids flagship devices) were to do that, I'd be absolutely furious.

Do they have an ordinary cable as well or are they purely bluetooth?

Having read the specs on MyMemory:
"Line-Input Audio: 3.5mm stereo jack"

HTC made a Windows Mobile smartphone years ago which didn't have an audio socket and used the multipurpose MiniUSB port instead. Was *really* irritating to have to carry adapters.
I believe Apple want to ditch the audio port so they can make a slimmer device (which IMHO) is entirely unnecessary. Apple Marketing will doubtless proclaim otherwise.

I Had some for Christmas and they are a nice looking pair of headphones they have Bluetooth NFC and a cable they sound alright and are way better than the unbranded tat you get for the same price. One thing i will say and it caught me out was the charging I put them on charge for a couple of hours then went to use them and they were totally dead i cant believe i actually had to read the instructions and this is weird, to charge the headphones the power switch must be in the on position. These headphone are around the £40 mark so they are a great buy at £17 they look very smart.

I thought bluetooth headsets were a bit rubbish. The problem being the only bidirectional bluetooth profile is low quality mono audio so you can't listen in stereo and talk at the same time. I suppose OK used with a phone to listen to music then switch to a mono telephone conversation. Useless for online voice chat while playing games etc.
I have a Logitech wireless headset which isn't bluetooth, I believe, for that reason.
Anyone know different?

Yes, it is confusing. I'm 99% sure they are the same headphones and that they are on-ear. They're just not big enough to be over-ear.

Well that'd be really stupid of Apple. The ports wear down just fine for their individual uses, so having one port used double will be a wonderful just out of warranty disaster that'll make people choose other players

I am using one for a while now.... Very good build.... Only down point to me is others can hear the sound at around full volume from outside.... Sound quality is better than other non branded and low end branded headphones...
