Cannot wait for this :- my whole child hood is based on this game. I remember playing it on the arcades at the local chippy after school, very much to the annoyance of my mum for squandering pocket money she gave :-)

Everything Capcom does is with a platform holder (outside of Resident Evil): Dead Rising 3 with Microsoft, Monster Hunter with Nintendo & Street Fighter V / Deep Down with SCE. They've had severe financial troubles for a long time.

Microsoft will not allow cross platform play, so they got dropped.

Something needs to be done with Birdie and Gief ...some of Giefs hitboxes are strange, and Birdie atm, is waaaaay to OP. I believe there is one more Beta for a couple days that irons out some final changes so interested to see whats in this. Good times ahead either way..

Is it true the game will only have 6 fighters at launch? Because if that's true they can forget it.

No and all future character DLC's will be obtainable for free via updates through fight money which you rack up by playing matches so you unlock them

its got 16 characters at launch, with 6 charcter supposedly confirm for DLC. DLC is pirchasable, but will also be free with ingame currency to promote multiplayer.
Lets see if capcom can honestly keep there word with this and not give into another super ultra mega HD EX re-release.
Played the beta, amazing game. Combos are a lot easier and the game is tailored to average and expert players alike, rather that SFIV's combo heavy gameplay.
Btw be prepared to be very dissapointed with dhalsim >.> his yoga fire goes in arcs now and his stretch moves are limited, super lame -.-

I grew up on this game too. Happy to buy a pc or ps4 just for this game, can't decide which to go for though.

I kept my sons Xbox 360 purely because we bought a digital copy of Third Strike, the best game in the series to date for me. Turbo II was my favourite when I was a kid

Anyone recommend a good fightpad? Not a fight stick cant afford it, also for good low input lag on TV I just turn off all processing features right?
check out fightcade. It's an online emulator that supports approx 250+ roms.
I use it to play super turbo and third strike

My favourite game of all time in any gaming history. Miss the good old days especially playing on arcade machines and snes :disappointed:
Alpha 3 on PS1 is my favourite so far (world tour mode).
Where's the Xbox fan now? Care comment about KI LOL?
