They completely revamped the game after how bad it originally was, I'm only hearing good things about it these days.

Massive increase in bots. Waste of time.

I would recommend avoiding steam for this game, which is the only time I would ever say it, because the game will be locked to steam meaning any expansions like heavensward and future releases will have to be bought through steam as well. This is a problem as initially they will be cheaper from sites selling the Square Enix code. Heavensward is a great expansion also, if you enjoy the base game really worth the expansion which is still getting new content every few weeks/couple of months.

with the bots issue its about as avarage as any other mmo, possibly a little better, from my experiance incredibly rare to non existance I meet one in game play, only real effect is in game market where some items are driven down really cheaply which can make it hard to sell things in game sometimes but everything still makes money so your gameplay shouldn't be too hurt by the existence of bots.

Great game, 10/10. Highly recommended if you're into coordination based games, it literally requires to be played like a sport when you start end game raiding, lol.

So you have no idea which game I've been playing lol? Have a guess mate, you wont have to think to hard. Hint: the name is in the title and its the one your talking about as well! And, just for extra info, I've played it for years on subs and it wasnt only the "odd bot" here and there. They were tons of them and most were multiplying before your eyes. E.g appear, move to an area/object/npc, interect, then disappear again. Then another would appear an instant later and do the same, this would occur for an hour!! Work out how many bots you can produce for mining or anything else they chose to do with them. And thats a single example, and I saw it all over the place every day.

As for quality of the game itself? Superb, not in dispute. I loved it. To me it is wasted time, yes, due to bots. Why should I bother spending 6 hours mining manually while some fkwit does it with 100 bots as he sleep and thus the value of my 6 hours work is practically worthless! They undermine the whole economy. You have your opinion, I have mine.
