This was one of the flaws in Star Wars. A parsec is a measurement of distance not time, so therefore I guess since the Millennium Falcon is regarded as a piece of junk it was maybe a miracle it covered this distance, but obviously that was not was meant in the film.

One potential and discussed reason is that the Kessel Run is a route with a lot of asteroid fields and so people would often go around it. Han Solo flew through it in the Falcon hence did it in such an amazingly short distance.

anyone got any feedback on these my wee boy loves star wars but don't want to waste the £12 if they are rubbish:)
If I thought my tesco would be this price is go get one,I've been on so many tesco wild goose chases and find nothing.so now I don't bother costs me a fortune in fuel.great find tho.

Surprised this hasn't got more heat but having said that I wouldn't have paid £50 for it.
