Just a reminder that the game is available to pre-order for £29.49 (could increase in the coming months) and no, Base does not pre-charge instead only when it's being processed for dispatch.
Nintendo re-confirmed that the game will be released on April 22, 2016. SFZ was delayed to 2016 and in return Mario Tennis Wii U was the one to receive the short end of the stick.
Wii U deal posts on here in general, be it consoles, accessories are games have been few and far between last 2 months now. I'd argue there has been virtually nothing decent (and I include posts of my own in that). Not sure why it is so poor, it is bad, but people can only post what little there is really.

This will be £25 a month after release I bet, it's gonna flop hard as it releases just before E3 and sweet NX news. It it had that transforming Arwing amiibo idea they mentioned then it would probably do ok but in its own it will be next years Chibi Robo for them.

That pile of Genisys that is Mario Party 10 is still going for £26 so even for a crappy Nintendo game the price still hasn't decreased much. Or Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash - a.k.a The Worst Mario Tennis Game. Now, I'm not one of those Nintenconomists who say Nintendo games don't lose their value, they do but it takes time. Well, certainly not for Melee or other highly praised Ninty games.

I have an account on Quidco but never liked them, think it's that the UI never looked very appealing to me though TCB's suits me just fine.

I use QUIDCO and couldn't really say it is much different or better. I guess Trading Standards will catch onto these crappy and shifty cash back programmes in about 10 yrs time.

I quote, 'this is clearly the standard price for the game at Base'
for comparing standard prices, I could use pricerunner or similar. this site is about more than that.

It looked like an GameCube game with contrast turn up, its not an indi title/kick starter project. It's a Wii U game on a platform which is clearly dying. If you are developing for your own console then you make an effort.
The public has spoken and Nintendo have listened hence the delay, so they know they needed to book up their ideas.

Well, try Amazon and see if that's their standard price too.

Perhaps boring-pedants.co.uk would be more suitable?
RuudBullit

I appreciate that, but this is clearly the standard price for the game at base. If people find the cheapest standard price for every product out there, and post every product every month, you would get the site overwhelmed with 'deals' that are a few pence cheaper than elsewhere. Maybe we should rename the site - loweststandardpriceseverymonth.co.uk

what do you mean by better graphics? which effects is Star Fox missing?
Xenoblade looks more life-like, but that's not what I'd want from Star Fox. If I want life-like, I'll upgrade my PC or open my front door

Hi, having played this twice & being a big fan of Star Fox / Lylatwars. I would be careful of preordering until I know they have changed the control scheme, the control's are atrocious and require you to have an eye on the screen and the gamepad at the same time & also to be moving the gamepad and using the analogue sticks. It was off-putting enough for me to wait to see the final product before ordering so just advising it might be worth doing the same

True but at Eurogamer Expo last year. They had Starfox Zero and Xenoblade Chronicles X playable demos next to each other. Two games exclusive to the same console. Xenoblade Chronicles X graphics looked far superior than Starfox Zero that it was embarrassing. No excuse for the way Starfox Zero looked then, glad they delayed it and polished it up due to bad feedback.

TCB (topcashback) is SH*T . Cashback you will receive after 8 to 10 months if you are lucky.

I can vouch to this by saying some merchs do take a really long time but in the end the money comes through.
Betfair took 2-3 months but the £52.50 (£20 for £52.50) have become 'Payable' today and transferred it to my bank account.

Good lord the game looks dated. This will be in the bargain bins along with Project STEAM and Chibby Robo mere days after release

Graphically the game has always looked dated, but with Platinum Games and Shigeru Miyamoto behind it, I'm confident it will play well. Even if it is a dud, pre-ordering at £30 pretty much guarantees that you will be able to move it on within a week or two for the money you paid for it.

Does look like Sega's afterburner graphics with a little digital remastering doesn't it? There is no substitute for gameplay though and the Wii U has been around for a while now. Am not making excuses for Nintendo's GFX, well okay maybe a little bit

Will be surprised if there is no Star Fox amiibos coming out for the new Wii U game to unlock more game content.

I have a pre-order with The Game Collection at £29.85 (I also used a few of their points to bring the price down a little further). If you order with a card (rather than Paypal) they take payment 1-3 days before dispatching the game. If you use Paypal they take payment within 28 days.
