Wish HUKD had a feature in which posters could tick/untick when a deal's actually expired. Like this, we can't.

This game has been delayed for so long now i thought they weren't bothering with it anymore. I've read a couple of previews and both mention awkward controls and ordinary graphics.
The first game was groundbreaking for its time, hard to think it now but i remember mates being wowed by this...

The previews that you're seeing will most likely be early impressions from the game's E3 2015 showing; it's been substantially improved since then.
It's also only had a single delay so far.

Any new control system gets reviewed as awkward because of the learning required. But sources suggest a small amount of perseverance brings its rewards with this one.

Thought I'd missed out on this, but just put an order in, thanks. Presumably I can cancel (debut card payment) if something better comes along...

Even that mediocre Mario Party 10 and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash (such poor use of the two words 'Ultra' and 'Smash') haven't dropped down to £15.
Well, MP10 did a while back on Very but that's about it.

Drop in price - maybe. But "massively"... well, that just doesn't seem to happen for most Wii U exclusives.

I know it is but most who aren't Nintendo gamers or fanboys would say that there are far better consoles than the Wii U. Still, there's also the third option, it's just their favourite.

Technically speaking N64 was better than PS1 but the cartridge held Nintendo's console back.
N64 carts could hold up to 64MBs while PS1 discs were about 700MBs (normal CDs but black).

Ps1 superior than N64? The only thing that it beat the N64 on was having a bigger library of games.
Gamer_U
17 Jan 16#32
It's not that. You're saying that the Wii U is the best console you've ever owned and that feels out of place considering others have had a much better library of games.
I do have to say that I prefer Sega Genesis/MD over the SNES because it was the one I liked more as a kid albeit having both but Genesis had more mature games unaltered.
My favourite Nintendo consoles: NGC > SNES > NES > Wii U > Wii > N64
I wish I could place N64 higher but PS1 at the time was simply the superior console with the games I wanted to play (and still do).
Please report the deal to be unexpired then. Thanks.

I actually rate my Sega Master System and Megadrive as better consoles than the Nintendo 8/16 bit equivalents. Also liked those consoles, just the Sega stole more of my youth and was more fun for me. Guess it comes down to the types of games you like. I always though Sega would be revived as a console maker, but a lot of time has passed now.
The Sega Gamegear was an interesting portable handheld console as it was more or less just a portable Master System. Would be great if every console had a portable handheld option for playing away from home.

I actually agree. Had everything from an Acorn electron to today's consoles including snes, neo geo, sega master system, megadrive. The wii u is a fantastic console with far superior games (gameplay wise)to my xb1 and ps4. I love it. Most people that dismiss them have never owned or even played one.

Ive owned: Spectrum 128k, +2, Commodore 64, Amiga 500+, Amiga CD32, Atari Jaguar, SNES, Megadrive, Gameboy, PS2, PSP, PS3, Xbox 360, DSi, 3DS XL, Wii and now Wii U.

I love my Wii U, probably the best console Ive ever owned (ive owned them em all at one time or another tbh). Off screen play is a win. Game titles are great and they hold there price, so resale is not a problem. Good collectors items too.
My only gripe is the piano black finish and the tiny 32GB drive size - should have been 128GB minimum.

Nintendo will likely make one but I just don't care about amiibos. What sucks about them is that some contain DLC that should be sold instead on the eShop.

bit the bullit, thanks I think, early signs don't look good for this game but being produced by platinum games and Nintendo with miyamoto involved it's gotta be half decent when it hits the shelves.

The answer to this question is almost always just to be found in the merchant's FAQ/help pages. For PayPal pre-orders more than 28 days out, it's within 28 days of order, rather than with reference to the release date
