Rule of thumb, dont always checkout with PayPal straight away with Gearbest. Go to checkout first then pay with PayPal and you will see deductions. Thanks btw OP i will give these a try.
I can't see these working; if a screw/bolt shears it's cos there's a massive frictional force along it's entire length on the outside of it, trying to drill a small hole/thread in the head of it to try n reverse it will just damage the thing you're trying to extract?
And for that reason, I call BS. :wink:

You're right. In forty years of professional engineering, the number of times I've had success with this sort of thing (the originals were called 'easy-outs') can be counted on the fingers of one hand.

Does that work on unions that are heavily rusted together though? I'm assuming the proper application of WD-40 requires a complex mix of gravity, heat and time. :neutral_face:

I find plusgas is far better than WD40 . Gives you much better....err penetration.
might be gearbest's and PayPal's exchange rates are not the same. £1.58 for me too, but ordered anyway.

Last year I bought some similar extractors from ALDI, they did not work on a Phillips screw with rounded off head.
They did not work but did not have the drill head on each extractor. I took them back.
At the end of the day if it does not work you only paid £1.50?

top tip. if trying to drill the centre of a bolt use a hole punch first to markt the centre point so the drill bit wont more around and off centre when drilling.

Just got round to trying these. Utter rubbish. The drill end completely failed on first use. Very soft metal which instantly wore down to nothing. Don't waste you money, and the 6 weeks it takes to deliver!
