Thought this would do as a party present from my 5 year old to one of her friends. I am struggling to re stock my cupboard in this year's sales!

We break out all the classic Board Games over the Christmas. Great fun playing Frustration, Scrabble, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit! The old ones are the best!

Remember playing Connect 4 in Primary school. The last day of term used to be a games day and there were no classes.Children could bring in their own toys to play in the class as well.
Wonder if they still play Connect 4 in Primary schools now,as most kids these days seem to be using tablets.I'm sure there's a computer version of Connect 4 out there somewhere.

Different Manufacturer, different name but same game in essence. If it makes you feel better, you can paint the green discs red!

I once modified a Connect Four to make a "Moron Edition". Removed the top three rows - made it much more difficult to lose. :-)

Thank you, just bought some to donate to a charity initiative that give toys to impoverished children

Very true. The Asda I called into this morning had Xmas wrap reduced from £3 to £1. That seemed to be it

I absolutely agree with you. I was rather gob smacked by the complete absence of decs, wrap etc. At my local stores. Usually I am able to find half a dozen things for the present cupboard...
